absolutely amazing vegan Mexican food got nachos, tacos and a quesadilla to share with my friend and we lived it. the margaritas are also delicious

Food took an hour to come and found mine was quite burnt and unenjoyable. No one served us for over 15 minutes just for drinks and then another 15 for food.

The Basement is ALWAYS good. Mexican themed bar and food. Caters well for dietary restrictions. It's great to be served by staff who have a bit of personality. We were looked after really well by Pablo on this visit. Thanks we'll be back soon for more margaritas.

As a lover of Mexican food and tequila we thought we’d try this restaurant as it was also near to our hotel. So glad we did great, friendly service with tasty food that was fresh and vibrant. Same could be said for the cocktails, mine had dragonfruit sorbet and was delicious. Great vibe to the place too, we will definitely back

I wanted to drink somewhere else near st james' quarter for my birthday, so booked the basement. she knew the place and was happy to go there. it is a Mexican theme bar, with a large menu catering for any nutritional needs; it is gf and vegetarian, I am vegan. no problem at all. we were so happy that we could both eat the churros, and oh my word, they were good! the personal is great here. very friendly and attentive. they have an extensive selection of tequilas, a great cocktail list and also mocktails that I can drive for as I can.
