The Beagle - Piatti

I always have a great meal at this restaurant at a reasonable price. The staff is always attentive. My only complaint is the 120 character requirement for this review.

We visited the beagle as it was next to the premier inn. Was expecting similar fare to a normal premier inn. But omg this pub/restaurant is lovely. A lovely unspoilt inn . Food is amazing. Staff are lovely. Can’t fault the place

The service was excellent if a little speedy! Did feel a bit rushed but it was a Saturday night just before Valentine’s Day so I expect they were experiencing a busy turnover. Food was excellent, very tasty, plentiful and well presented. Characterful atmosphere and we’ll be back. Visualizza piatti

I was very pleasantly surprised as our last visit to the Beagle was not very good at all (I hasten to add that this was many years ago though). This time the food was good and the pub was warm and inviting. The service was very good, our waitress was friendly and polite. We will definitely be back.

Lovely traditional old pub with lots of character and we liked the open fires . Staff friendly and helpful; we all enjoyed our meals which were very well presented. My vegan Jackfruit wrap didn't have a huge amount of flavour but salads and sweet potato fries were good. I would certainly be happy to go again

My partner and I had a great Sunday dinner at The Beagle in Ipswich. The food was fantastic and the service was top notch. However, even though I had made a reservation through The Fork, the management at The Beagle would not accept the Yums that I had saved for this occasion. I was disappointed as The Beagle is listed on The Fork's website. Can someone please explain why they are not accepted at this restaurant? Visualizza piatti

I decided to try out this pub, which is a bit out of the way, and was pleasantly surprised by the experience. We booked a table for Father's Day since our usual spots were fully booked. They offered a set 3-course menu with a great selection. The food and service exceeded my expectations, and they even gave us our desserts to go since we were too full to finish. I would definitely consider coming back to this place.

eating was absolutely beautiful, but a waiter seems to be fun chatting with his colleagues and giggling much instead of noticing that we had completed our first curs, I would like to refresh the menu. again we had to wait for his attention to the billing a total of 25 minutes waiting between the curses to hear him that I call him. at the end I caught a beautiful young lady waitress and she appeared very fast and sorted us very professional. I will go back there and hopefully the young lady and not the young man who serves my table.

Lovely pub, it was busy when we went so wasn’t as quiet as I would of liked but that was to be expected on a Friday night and also nice to see. The setting is gorgeous and beautifully cosy with open fires and exposed beams. The food was really good, I had the house burger and it was very tasty. The girl serving us was pleasant and professional. She has mastered the ability to be attentive without being pushy or making us feel that we need to leave. I would both recommend the Beagle and will also be visiting again myself. Well done to all the team for providing a lovely atmosphere with good food and good service. Visualizza piatti
