Love this place. Excellent to sit outside on a nice day. Food is lovely and plentiful. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Takes a while to get served when busy, but that's by-the-by. This is a very popular spot for coffee and/or lunch with a constant turnover of tables so the wait won't be long if you don't find a seat straight away. Baked potatoes are very good as is the homemade soup. Cakes are excellent, the ginger cake alone is worth the return trip for me. There are several, quality retail outlets to peruse too. This cafe is a very popular one in the Blagdon estate shopping area called milkhope, it’s a lovely cafe with plenty space, on busy days (pretty much every day) you may have to wait for a table the line does go down fast, it is worth waiting for. The food is homemade and perfect for lunch. They also sell some locally made produce. I recommend their chocolate cake. But everything they do here is lovely. The staff are extremely friendly.
