"This was probably the best all around place where I’ve stayed and dined anywhere! Excellent hospitality, superb food and atmosphere, great staff. I stayed in one of the guest rooms and experienced dinners and breakfasts for a week, all different food items and each meal, from the fish and chips to the Sunday roast, was fabulous! I highly recommend this country treasure for a night out or a getaway stay in the country."

Lovely traditional pub. Beautiful setting and great food. Had a lovely lobster gnocchi when we visited which was very tasty!! Will definitely be returning and highly recommend.

Brilliant lunch time meal. I’m GF and the menu was brilliant. Lottie, our server, was really knowledgeable and talked me through the menu. Excellent food, service and atmosphere. Would highly recommend. Thank you!

Arrived without booking and asked for a table with plenty of room as my husband has a disability. The young man who helped me couldn't have been nicer even swopping a chair for us. The meal was lovely and tasty. The service was excellent.

We are staying here for six nights and decided to give their restaurant Bistro a try on our first night. . The wife had chicken and I had pie of the day and we both loved the meals really good quality and well above typical pub meals. This is high quality food at mid range prices.
