The Bridge House - Piatti

Needs a good clean not the best ground in dirt on floor tiles on the way to toilets . Just not clean enough dust and dirt very of putting won't go back .

Upon entering, the restaurant had a slightly run-down appearance with a cold draft coming through. The waiter was somewhat abrupt. However, the carvery was very tasty with plenty of sides, and the chef was very friendly. I would highly recommend trying the carvery.

The staff at this restaurant were friendly and accommodating for our group of 14. The food was excellent, especially the tasty chips. We found the prices to be great value for the quality of the dishes. All of our meals arrived at the table together, and we enjoyed the nice surroundings and ample parking. Visualizza piatti

Held my Mothers wake here as she had lived in Penkridge for over 40 years. The buffet was good, they made separate sandwiches for 2 people with food allergies. There was plenty of food for our small group . The staff were pleasant and courteous. The pub is spacious and a nice place to meet up. Would definitely recommend.

My dining experience at the carvery was the worst, starting with the mashed potatoes being lumpy and the roasts half frozen. The green beans were also frozen and the cabbage was raw in lukewarm water. The meat was dry and seemed to have been cooked the night before. The chef and staff were unfriendly. I will not be coming back.

First time here ok i suppose you get what you pay for not the best . The Desserts a bit below what you expect . Would we go again , not in a hurry would get better elsewhere . Had a small problem with the bill ,Overcharged and then when corrected still found out i had been overcharged again by a £1 after being £10 overcharged before . Visualizza piatti

To be honest I was very sceptical that the meal was going to be any good judging by the somewhat 70s feel of the place. I was wrong, the staff were friendly and the chef was very careful to make sure that I had my gluten free needs catered for. I had the best steak I think I have ever had there, it was all cooked to perfection and the staff could not have been more helpful. Really fab.

Was very disappointed over the breakfast very poor for £9.95 one egg bacon 2 sausages cheap beans 1 mushroom small 1 hash brown no toast. No tea at Cyril tea room for £10.95 we had toast 2 slices included tea or coffee black pudding tomato beans hash browns eggs bacon for a pound more when you try to help local businesses as live local would not recommend the bridge house for quality or good value at all

We like to try local pubs , this one was empty when we arrived and that’s usually a bad sign However the member staff probably the owner was friendly . The quality of the breakfast was poor Luke warm and the mushrooms had been fried to death. They resembled peanuts. Doubt if they were even fresh , very cheap beans bacon was nice but overall I’ve had much better. Plus it wasn’t cheap the dearest I’ve paid in a long time . I won’t be visiting again.
