After several poor and cold restaurants what a brilliant change in the butcher's arms it was warm friendly and helpful and the food was excellent

My husband and I visited The Butcher Arms this evening after driving past many times. Today we saw a sign for fish and chips for two for £15, so thought we'd give it a go. I wish we hadn't. The decor is very dated and dark not in an olde worlde way, just a dated way, but we looked past that and hoped for the best.One plus is that the barman was very friendly. Our food was brought out by a young lad that wasn't exactly service with a smile.
