"We had booked a pitch for a motorhome and booked the restaurant on a Sunday evening. Normally on a Sunday most pubs have very little choice apart from the standard Sunday roast, which is fine if that’s what you want. But we found the menu excellent for choices as well as the roast dinners. We were not disappointed in any part of our stay, the staff was most helpful, polite and the food was exceptional. We both had starters and burgers to follow which were lovely, very tasty and well presented. Reasonably priced, nice comfortable bar and dog friendly. We would definitely recommend"

The restaurant is a very welcoming place with excellent food. I highly recommend the prawn cocktail for newcomers. Overall, I would suggest visiting on a nice Sunday evening for dinner. Visualizza piatti

Food came out cold and the beef was really tough. Had to ask for extra gravy as it was very dry. The carrot and swede mash was also very lumpy. Didn’t feel it was good value for money for what we got at all and won’t be returning in a hurry. Staff not the most helpful and when asked if we could pay they just said ‘bar’. Not a great atmosphere when walking in either.

Brilliant country pub and caravan park, I spent two nights there and ate in the restaurant on both nights, the food was very good well prepared and delicious and very well presented, also the service was second to none, on the Wednesday evening a young lady called Dani took the lead and on Thursday evening a young gentleman called Anthony took the lead, they both took their job very seriously and did a splendid job, very impressed.
