"We asked for a table at 7.30pm but we're offered 7.15 which was ok. On arrival we were shown to a table with menus on and started choosing our meal. 20 minutes later no one had been near us to ask if we wanted a drink or take our order!! When we managed to catch the eye of a passing waitress she was about to take our order when the 2 gents on the table behind us said can we order too as we were here before you!!! I ended up going to the bar myself to get drinks. There were 2 parties of about 8 each and a few tables of 2 and 4. The waiting staff were completely out of their depth. When they did serve us they were friendly.The food was the redeeming factor as it was very good, properly cooked and served on warm plates.I don't think I would go again."

I wasn't long ago and came back on a Saturday night with my family. good choice of the menu and cheap and great value for money in the portion sizes. political and polite. certainly worth a visit and we will definitely return.

Booked table for 4 on Friday evening. Arrived to find large private function in adjacent room maybe 100 adults kids attending and a bit noisy. Maybe we should have been warned when we made the booking ?Starters expensive deep fried potato skins (never very disappointing for a simple dish ! Tempura prawns delicious but only 4 in portion. Fish and chips excellent ! And special mention to the young man and lady who served us excellent customer service !
