Great local curry house, very down to earth and the food is tasty and reasonably priced. The music has sometimes been a bit heavy, think edm radio station which is odd whilst funnelling in a keema naan on a sunday evening

Christmas is next month but looks like Buddy the Elf was in town cooking up the dishes on 11/11/2023. I had Butter Chicken and it was the worst I’ve ever tasted, no flavour, no spice and overly sweet like it’s been drenched in Maple syrup. If you want a decent curry I would avoid but if you have a sweet tooth maybe it’s the place for you.

Unfortunately I have to say, be careful when booking over the Christmas period. We booked online where it allowed us to have a table booked. On arrival told it couldn’t happen because they had been booked out for a while. A colleague tried to say they had emailed back however nothing appeared in mail or junk box. Christmas is a busy period but websites/bookings need to be updated. We were not the only people who had this happen. We love curry and unfortunately this was the worst we’ve had. Paneer masala was inedible. Burnt to a crisp paneer covered in masala sauce so thick you could have stood your fork in it. Butter chicken that tasted of nothing but desiccated coconut and a sauce so thick it could have passed as poly filler. Chicken vindaloo tasted of nothing but chilli powder. The chicken dansak was the best of them and that was average at best. I don’t know who they have cooking for them but a chef they ain’t. I rarely write one star reviews but I have never been so upset by a meal at a restaurant. The staff were careless and inattentive. I ordered a chicken tikka masala and they served up a bright red curry that they said is chicken tikka masala but it tasted exactly like a chicken korma coconut y overly sweet and full of almonds. Just for context I have a tree nuts oral allergy. After one bite, I stopped immediately and notified the staff. The infuriating part is that they were trying to gaslight me when I told them this is a korma and not a tikka masala. They kept repeating it’s a sweet chicken tikka masala. Absolutely diabolical. The Waiter was unfriendly. The food arrived. Although the sauces were good and the onion bhaji, the meat was horrible. The Lamb was dry as a bone and chewy. The Chicken, which I didn 't think you could get wrong, was chewy and grisly. They clearly buy the cheapest cuts of meat and scrimp on all costs. They have no pride in the food. We have been served watered down Kingfisher before. They have decorated and the place looks lovely, but the cheap meat is horrible.
