The Crieff Food Co - Piatti

Service from staff varied from surly and disinterested to smiley but inefficient. Food was ok but nothing special. Long waits for service..place seems disorganised and lacking someone in charge of operations.

This food shop has everything you need. Very good food. Wide range of excellent products. The staff could be a bit more agile. The prices are in the upper half. Some organic food but not that much. We would buy again.

I had a great experience at this restaurant with an excellent selection of food, including some unique items. I was able to pick up everything I needed for a two-night stay at the Hydro, and all the dishes were delicious. Visualizza piatti

We stayed at the nearby Monzie Estate air B&B and a friendly local suggested we try the Crieff Food Co. Everything was so good that it was the only place we ate while in Crieff. If you have a big appetite, try the Full Monty :

This cafe also has a well-stocked deli shop with pies, cooked meats, steaks, and more. You can access the downstairs area without using stairs. If you need directions, the helpful staff can assist you. They also have a lovely selection of Harris Tweed items.

In for lunch, we had a mix of pies, baked potatoes and a ploughmans platter. Everything was nice and was fresh. The kids menu is lacking though, very few options and we were told we couldn't have a wee side salad of tomatoes and cucumber with the kids sandwich. Great selection of cakes for dessert. We went looking for food to munch on in our car and stumbled upon this lovely food hall. Imagine our glee when we went downstairs to find a cosy cafe with desserts on display behind glass, a fun mix of tables, chairs and sofas and table service! The homemade soups are quality and worth the 8 GBP when paired with a focaccia half sandwich and there are endless choices of drinks (teas, coffees, wine, beer, cider, kombuchas) and dreamy baked goods. Adjoining gift shop. Large washrooms. Friendly service. Open daily for breakfast and lunch and beverage breaks. Love it!

We can’t review the food, we were not served. We were seated and the same server then proceeded to clear several tables, take menus to other customers whilst telling us ‘I won’t be long’. Another server took orders from people who arrived after us and, if I tell you we completed two full rounds of cards before leaving to go elsewhere you’ll get the idea. It wasn’t busy; it was disorganised. You need someone keeping track of who is to be served, you need front of house staff with clear roles and who realise customers are more important than clear empty tables. The prices are extortionate and they’re certainly not investing in staff or their training, I imagine the owner drives a lovely Range...

On my first visit to this restaurant, I ordered a dish that was not on the menu but they were able to make it for me. I returned two more times and had no issues with ordering the same dish. However, on a subsequent visit, I received items I did not order along with my dish. When I pointed this out, the staff were unhelpful and borderline aggressive. Eventually, they brought me the correct dish but without any apology. I was hesitant to return but my partner convinced me to give it another try. During my next visit, I explained my previous experience to the server and was very clear about my order. Despite this, our food arrived with items we did not want and missing some we had ordered.
