The Crieff Food Co - Menu

Was driving through Crieff and stopped for a coffee, which was great, also picked an absolutely delicious gourmet sausage roll and salad, and some yummy fresh cakes. Highly recommend.

Tasty food, good service and responsible social distancing for Covid. Felt comfortable and safe Perspex screens in place, staff wearing face shields and still giving friendly service. We will come back!

Service from staff varied from surly and disinterested to smiley but inefficient. Food was ok but nothing special. Long waits for service..place seems disorganised and lacking someone in charge of operations.

This food shop has everything you need. Very good food. Wide range of excellent products. The staff could be a bit more agile. The prices are in the upper half. Some organic food but not that much. We would buy again.

I had a great experience at this restaurant with an excellent selection of food, including some unique items. I was able to pick up everything I needed for a two-night stay at the Hydro, and all the dishes were delicious.

This cafe also has a well-stocked deli shop with pies, cooked meats, steaks, and more. You can access the downstairs area without using stairs. If you need directions, the helpful staff can assist you. They also have a lovely selection of Harris Tweed items.

We can’t review the food, we were not served. We were seated and the same server then proceeded to clear several tables, take menus to other customers whilst telling us ‘I won’t be long’. Another server took orders from people who arrived after us and, if I tell you we completed two full rounds of cards before leaving to go elsewhere you’ll get the idea. It wasn’t busy; it was disorganised. You need someone keeping track of who is to be served, you need front of house staff with clear roles and who realise customers are more important than clear empty tables. On my first visit to this restaurant, I ordered a dish that was not on the menu but they were able to make it for me. I returned two more times and had no issues with ordering the same dish. However, on a subsequent visit, I received items I did not order along with my dish. When I pointed this out, the staff were unhelpful and borderline aggressive. Eventually, they brought me the correct dish but without any apology. I was hesitant to return but my partner convinced me to give it another try. We decided to visit the Crieff Food Co, as we are staying in Crieff. We had looked on line and it looked as though they had some lovely things to buy. Especially from the butchery counter. Firstly whilst we were putting our face masks on a girl who worked there was standing just inside the door way. By the time we walked in she had turned her back on us to rearrange the shelf and didn’t even say good morning. There was only us and one other person in there.
