Food was absolutely stunning I am a vegeterian and had a beautiful selection!! Do not regret any of my 3 meals all different!!

This restaurant serves delicious, well-prepared food. I thoroughly enjoyed the steak and ale pie, while my husband raved about the sirloin steak with peppercorn sauce. We highly recommend this place, as the prices are very reasonable.

Wanted a nice pint and food in a cozy pub. Got very nice real ale and excellent steak and ale pies, veg and gravy on a cold night. Everything was a level above typical pub food. Good sized portions and hardly any wait on an early Saturday evening. Deserts looked great but sadly we were too full! Staff really nice, couldn’t fault anything about it.

A little gem . We are staying local for the weekend and fancied a bite to eat , found the Crown Inn and so glad we did . The food was stunning , great quality and very reasonable prices . Wife had prawn linguini and i had the surf and turf , beautifully cooked steak with king prawns and cray fish . Fantastic . A proper country pub welcome made it a great visit . My friends and I went to this restaurant and three of us ordered lamb while one ordered Turkey. The meat was tender and delicious, and the vegetables, Yorkshire pudding, and gravy were also very tasty. It was a great deal for only £13 per person. The staff and service were excellent, and the owner was friendly and even took the time to chat with us. We will definitely be returning.

I had dinner here on a Saturday night during my walk along Hadrian’s wall. i was staying up the road at the George Hotel and this pub was recommended as a great dinner venue. The service and food were both excellent, the pub has a great atmosphere and the meals are well priced, I would recommend the Sausages and Mash and a pint of Guinness as a good way to finish a day of hiking, I look forward to returning

We were travelling through Northumberland, and searched for somewhere to have a Sunday dinner. After reading the reviews we chose here. We phoned to see if any tables available and the very helpful lady on the end said we are very busy however we could fit you in. First impressions , very typical lovely village pub, warm welcome, great ales and beers available, good menu and specials. We both had the roast beef dinners, and all I’m going to say…..amazing… the beef was melt in the mouth, gravy full of flavour, nice portion of veggies, and big crispy Yorkie …. One of the best Sunday dinners I’ve had….10 out of 10. Definitely will be back when in the area next….great to find a good British pub... Visualizza piatti
