We had a pleasant experience at the restaurant with Alex as our friendly and efficient waitress.

Food was lovely, lots of variety as well! All the staff were super friendly and helpful but Jamie, who served us, has to get a particular shout out. Will definitely be going back soon.

Josie, our server at this restaurant, was absolutely delightful during our great lunch. The food was fantastic and there was plenty of it - three sumptuous courses in all. It was a truly enjoyable experience. Thank you, Mike and Dee.

Both asked for chips with meal but arrived with mash or saute potatoes. We were not going to complain until we found the potatoes were not cooked. These changed quickly for chips. Service was excellent. Happy female staff (Alex??? with knowledge of availability. Did not rush us. Very enjoyable experience.

The restaurant needs significant improvements. The roast dinners were warm, not hot, the roast potatoes were appalling, and the food lacked proper presentation. Meals were served in a strange order, with main courses coming before starters. One starter was offered an alternative sauce, but it arrived with no sauce at all. The customer service was poor, with two main meals never arriving despite others who arrived after us receiving their meals. When we finally asked for a refund for the missing meals, it took a long time for someone to figure out how to process it, and there was no apology or friendliness, just a cold attitude. Dragonfly as always was nice but on this occasion we wanted the Gluten free fish but was told that you had changed suppliers and there was no fish. I wanted to order the steak with peppercorn sauce but no sauce so opted for the Garlic cheese mushrooms to be told there were none. The gent who was looking after us offered to remove the cost of a pint to make up for the issue with food choice. Once we had settled for food, overall it was good, just disappointed in that first instance. We have visited again and similar issues! The staff were really friendly and the food that we had was very nice. The only issue was we were told there were no eggs to go with the gammon or mushrooms for starters....

This was our 1st visit to The Dragonfly I booked a table for 3 our dog, over the phone which was so easy. It’s was so cosy welcoming with friendly staff and very relaxed, order at the bar whenever you are ready. We sat inside, but I noticed there was outdoor tables too! There’s plenty of parking and you just put your registration into the touch screen just inside the front door. Our Food was beautifully cooked, hot, well presented and tasty we ordered From the set menu; starters, mains and desserts, which was very reasonably priced) I didn’t take many photos as everything looked so good we just tucked in without thinking about taking pics! Don’t often leave reviews but had such a wonderful experience here yesterday. We planned to go to another pub close by, but it was fully booked. We were all hungry so just chose the dragonfly as it was the closest one nearby. It wasn’t too busy, we had a drink before food and the gardens were really lovely. We were seated for food and the man who served us was probably the best server we have ever had. He was very attentive and we have 3 young children (3 a year old twins and a 1 year old) he saw the kids were messing around and went to get crayons for them.
