We were back a few times! Great local pub, friendly staff, excellent food, stunning views of the Thames, a great option for a complete meal, or drinks with friends ^ ^ can sit in or take away and drink by the river! this time I had the board special, slowly cooked pork ribs, and aah... it was to die! Well done The Dukes Head, very deserves four to five stars now!! ^ ^ can not wait to be back! x

great location, beautiful old Victorian building, great service. However, it was a shame that half of the main courses were not available on a Saturday night. also the building has a lot of potential. they must invest in an interior architect and get better management. they don't get the whole return they could have. the food was good, the service also, but the overall experience could have been better.

We just got married at Duke's Head and couldn't recommend it enough. We had our ceremony at the Wolsey Room, lunch at the Coxswain and drinks at the Rowing Club. The team is so accommodating that nothing was too much trouble and everything went incredibly smooth thanks to its hard work. Our guests gave us such positive feedback, especially for eating and drinking. The day was also very favorable, so it is a perfect place to try to keep the costs down without feeling as if you miss something. It was really a day to remember.

maybe they have read my last contribution about dinner club coordinators extrodinaire, grub club. You are just approaching the Putney bridge and it is time to give a delicious break- this multi-storey building with Duke's Head pub, Wolsey Room and Coxswain Dining Room will definitely have all you are looking for. Actually we were in the Rowing Club, below Duke's head in the Lower Ground. everything on the Little Luch menu is absolutely delicious, and I do like this menu particularly as every ingredient and combination appeals to me, I could live with this list of options for such a long, long time Haddock burgers and garnished fennel and chili squid are just yummy, and London Pale Ale to go with they have the proper, standard beer selection Enjoying your time by the river...read more

We got married there in October 2021 and it was just a perfect day the weather helped, but it would have been amazing what the weather was. They are perfect for weddings, with the three rooms means that you do not feel as if you are immersed in the same room all day. The venue is great, I'm just looking, and the food is amazing, but what makes it really the team of employees who work tirelessly to ensure that everything is going to be planned, and you, and your guests, have the best day possible. The place is lovely by the river and has fast food service. The staff are also very attentive and polite. The drink selection was vast and there was a large area avaliable for more casual 1 to 1 chats. I ate the roast pork option of the menu as did another member of my group and we are in agreement with our opinion. The meal was altogether lovely however individually lacked some elements that could really buck it up to 5 stars for the price you are expected to pay. The ratio of red cabbage to greens was very disproportionate and more greens with stems cut would have complemented the meal better and cut through the fat of the pork. We have on 02. September married and could not recommend The Duke's Head more than venue! The night before my wedding when I broke the decorations and the cake.etc. I met Dorian and he was just fantastic. He was patient and took the time to listen to me and what I needed. He made me feel comfortable and assured me that everything was done and ready for the following day, which is inestimable if you are most stressed. The only thing The Dukes Head could have done better would have been if Dorian had been our contact point by the leadership than his one night before any other communication.
