"Noticed the reviews on Trip Advisor reviews, we went late October on a Saturday, delightful meal for two quality salmon and quality meals wouldnt hesitate in recommending. Went back midweek in November the meals were really poor we ordered exactly the same meals and the...contrast was so marked. Poor food quality a head) If it was a cheap and cheerful Wetherspoons you would of just about accepted the food on offer. Bland. Rather than post a Negative review I never do I then emailed the owners and just simply asked.....Has the Chef Changed ?...is this a case of Weekend Chef...Midweek Chef? I got an email back with a load of Platitudes but No Answer to my direct question whatsoever and that was that. Im not returning given the visit and how they responded to a minor complaint which was exceptionally complimentary for the majority from a customer who described his first visit as just Outstanding. But the judgement of great customer service , is what you do when it goes wrong. In this case they failed to answer me whatsoever. I am just wanting to know, given the dates, where they different chefs ?..Thats all i asked. They hope their words) we associate with them in the future and that is that.Based on my response. NO"

The pork ribs were probably the meatiest that I've ever had and very tasty! The cauliflower and red onion bhaji was a real winner and an excellent example of the imagination and attention to detail of the chef!

We were here for Mother's Day and I have to say it was perfect. We all had the carvery and it was incredible. One of the best roast dinners I've ever had, even my picky brother loved it. We will definitely be coming back. Visualizza piatti

I called here an evening with my laptop to do something work and asked for a nice quiet corner and the staff was very helpful. the food was fantastic with a great choice in the offer and all cooked home. Great little place! We enjoyed a night here yesterday. We had never been and had occasion to stay to pick up a new puppy in the area. The staff were fantastic. Particular call out to Jasmin and the chef. Both could not have been more...welcoming, engaging and attentive. We were lucky with the Steak Evening! The food was excellent. The room was comfortable with a comfy bed too. Would recommend. Thanks again!

I recently dined at a charming pub/restaurant that I absolutely loved. The staff were very friendly and the food was fantastic. My husband ordered the steak, cooked perfectly to medium as requested, and I had the delicious chicken marsala. In our opinion, this place is the top spot in Wisbech. The only downside was that it was a bit chilly inside. I prefer a warmer atmosphere, especially with the cooler evenings, so it would have been nice to see a fire lit to add to the cozy ambiance and attract more customers.
