I requested a split white pudding but received overcooked, soggy fritters instead. The food was disappointing. I would rate it 1/5. The service was slightly better, so I’ll give it a 2/5, but the atmosphere left much to be desired as well, earning just a 1/5.

I've been to The Fish Hoose three times since it opened, and it’s by far the best fish and chips around. As others have mentioned, the fish literally melts in your mouth. It’s incredibly fresh, and the service is excellent. I wish the owner and the staff all the best and would wholeheartedly recommend this place to everyone. Visualizza piatti

As for vegetarian options, I didn’t notice if any were available. Regarding parking, the lot is in poor condition with several potholes, and there are no lights, making it somewhat hazardous to walk in the dark. We had to depend on streetlights for visibility, but they don’t reach the back of the parking area. In terms of wheelchair accessibility, while there is some access, dining inside could be a bit cramped and potentially dangerous if a wheelchair is positioned at the end of the table or in the aisle.

After recently seeing a recommendation for the Fish House on Facebook, I decided to give it a try, and I ended up going back for the second time! The quality of the food from the menu is excellent, especially the chips; they're absolutely delicious! The portion sizes are just right. I love that everything is served fresh and piping hot. The seating area is always very clean, and the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, I don't live close to the location, but I will always find an excuse to make the trip to Thornton because they truly are the best!

The meals from this restaurant used to be a delight, but my last two experiences were disappointing. The food was soggy, lacked flavor, and the quality was very poor. The service was acceptable, but the restaurant doesn't seem to have many customers anymore, making it easy to pre-order and pay through the app, then just walk in, pick it up, and leave. Unfortunately, I won't be returning, as the food was so unappetizing that it went straight into the trash. It's such a shame to see this place change so dramatically; I suspect new owners who may not have the skills of the previous ones and are possibly using lower-quality ingredients. Visualizza piatti
