"What a great spot for a typical English pub meal. All the usual offerings done outstandingly. Nicest pie I've ever had (and I'm a great pie fan), went again a second night it was so good and ordered the fish and chips, another classic. Wonderful crisp batter but not oily crisp, fluffy chips. Clearly they have a great kitchen. Pie had this amazing side of greens which seemed to be a combo of kale, cavalo nero and beans or snap peas done in a light butter, just delicious! Good staff, efficient and professional but also casual and chatty. Great atmosphere too, without the (oft off-putting) ubiquitous TV showing footy or loud music."

Had a lovely long weekend at the fleece. The hotel and restaurant staff were very accommodating and we couldn't fault the food! Would recommend to anyone and would definitely return if we were in the area

Always good for coffee, drinks etc. Recently renovated and really tastefully done. Dogs very welcome. Staff are always really friendly and helpful. Have eaten there and always been happy with service and food.

Celebration 60th wedding anniversary. Four days of enjoyment helped by kind and considerate staff (even presenting us with a bottle of champagne! and quite exceptional food at all sittings. Certainly worth another visit.

visited yesterday afternoon. beautiful place to visit, loved the deco and attentive service of the employees. had the most amazing goat cheese and wobbly jam roasted sandwich on gluten-free brot. will revise in the near future.

We had a lovely meal at the Fleece in cirencester Sunday 26th Nov 2017 The atmosphere was very cosy with live music the waitress Tonia was very friendly she was very attentive the service was excellent !! We would definitely go back

Fabulous lunch at the Fleece today all had pie of the day and it was wonderful. Great friendly staff very helpful and happy to have us in for lunch unlike the Kings Head! Just a wonderful time had by us all thanks again staff at the Fleece

we were there for the first time, the location, the staff, the atmosphere were all quite beautiful and beyond the eating was also excellent. we went for a simple lunch, fish and chips to be exact and it was as it should be, not too oily, not too salty, beautiful golden brown crispy teig. the ground peas were just as minty to give it a nice taste, you could not taste the mint that is beautiful. I had browny with ice, that was just as perfect and the ice didn't melt fast, so it remained frozen until the last bite and not so beautiful what I guess.
