"Used to enjoy the food and service from here, but for some reason the standards have slipped. Tried several times in last few months to phone in an order, but they appear to be ignoring the phone, so you have to go done and wait and they aren't quick. The food isn't so great these days either, last fish supper I got was overcooked. Come back Jackie, all's forgiven."

Great fish and chips shop. Really nice lady served us, explained about red sausage. Got to try fried Mars bar .. what a treat. Really nice food and service.

This is a takeout only fish and Chip shop. Delicious with a choice between battered or breaded. We tried both and thought it was great. Friendly staff, quick service and great food.

Highly recommend The Friary, have been coming here for years and the food has always been consistently great. My only complaint is sometimes it's difficult to get through on the phone, but this is simply due to them being very busy!

King rib supper was great the chips the best I've had in along time ..my sons batter sausage supper was gone in seconds he love it and my daughter chicken nuggets chips an curry sauce went down very well will be back ..staff and owner were fabulous thanks again roddy if you like a good supper this is the place 2 go
