What a lovely little place. Very cosy and romantic. Food was delicious. Staff are very professional and friendly. Highly recommend to anyone looking for good Quality food

A delicious three course Sunday lunch in a beautiful setting. The waitress impressed us by remembering, not writing down, a two course lunch for five ...no mistakes made! It would be good if there were 2 or 3 course lunch deals for midweek too. Would recommend!

our first time at the george will be our last! the food, the personal and the environment were excellent. a beautiful selection of meat vegetarian and fish dishes excellent wine list included a late harvested sauvignon dessert wine. their employees were friendly and very efficient. already plan a visit.

We went tonight for the first time to eat here. We had a cosy drink by the log burner then through to the restaurant. The duck melted in your mouth and the pork belly was lovely. The service was fantastic and there was a good atmosphere for a Monday night! Staff were very helpful!! ........ We will definitely return.

Beautiful garden to enjoy on a sunny afternoon ,and decor in interior Is gorgeous. no high chairs but accepted our 23 month old no problems. Food was good, tasty salmon starter, beautiful soft risotto, apple and strawberry crumble had plenty of fruit in it, service very good everyone smiling and friendly, will certainly be back.

We have visited here for the first time despite being local , we brought our parents here for lunch . We sat outside and from the minute we walked in the staff and the whole feel of the place was so inviting . The food and service were outstanding and in particular a very bubbly waitress who could nt do enough for us all x We will definately be back , thank you x

enjoy a meal in the george. eating was good can't fail. the service was also good in the way that the staff was friendly. the personal is very young and would benefit from a somewhat better training and an older person to keep everything, e.g. get drinks on time, know something more about the weinlist and not be stressed. we have never received our drinks before the meal, only after we had asked twice, it was only a little unorganized and hurried, but there are small things. eating was great and it is a beautiful place that deserves 5 stars!

I have made a point to visit the george in oxendon many paints and found the whole ambiente of the place to be super. through the light and airy stylish reception in the beautifully decorated restaurant area, ngh overlooks the gardens, the comfortable seating area around the fire, the cozy well-stocked large bar areas and even in the extensive scenic garden with its large terrace with plenty of seating. the staff is 10 out of 10 and could not be more friendly and attentive. the large selection on the menu 's for both lunch and evening times could not be better served. all in all one of the best and good worth a visit.or two

we had last minute opportunity to get a few friends to be worried on Thursday night. Although they were very busy, they made us a table on the side of their fine dining room. the presented menu was a firm of the joys that make the decision process quite tricky. even more than one of our party to the chef waitress, ellie, confessed that he really loved a gourmetburger who was not on the menu. without hesitation, she felt certain that something arranged and disappeared to chat with her chef. when she returned the description of the offer, she led to a second order for the same court. this is the type of service that is very missed by others operated and it is a credit to ele and their team.
