"really nice, inviting pub. we had a meal there and the staff was helpful and efficient. the food was well cooked pub-grub. the teig on the fish and chips was crispy, the fish cake was delicious and the veggie burgers were filled. chips were good, and the cheeseboard at the end was enormous with a great selection of cheese! be they only warned, the portions are very generous - they should be hungry when they arrive."

This is a wonderful pub with a friendly atmosphere and delicious food. It's a perfect spot for those traveling on the Eurotunnel. The garden is also lovely!

It was a lovely meal very relaxed. Good price and Staff very friendly and helpful. Also didn't feel rushed and hovered over. Thoroughly recommend to everyone.

the personal was beautiful. eating is great. a thought, it would be a good idea if older people could have a choice of a smaller part. many thanks for our beautiful lunch today x

This pub is fantastic! The food is delicious, and you get plenty on your plate for the price—it's excellent value for money. The atmosphere is warm and cozy, and the staff are very knowledgeable and friendly.

Had lunch here today. Faultless. Superb food and really friendly service. Shepherde Neame so beer wax obviously excellent. A beautiful interior. If you are going to eat here be aware of one thing though the portions are VERY generous! Best not to eat any crisps or snacks before you order!

I had the vegan curry in the george inn today, it tasted amazing, great color, rice, chutney, naan and popadom. not cheap at £12.95, but I was happy to pay this price. Unfortunately there are no vegan starters or desserts, so I don't comment. it is a very welcoming, well managed pub, warm and friendly.

My second visit to George Inn last week did not disappoint. Warm welcome Absolutely generous (so full! , fresh, delicious portions for traditional Sunday Roast with quality meat. My kids loved the salad. I had lamb, they had beef. Food envy with the sizzling (really theatrical fajita on next table coming back for that. Free parking at the back remains a bonus!

we were in leeds castle for 1 night and this pub was reachable to foot (15 min per way). service was great and we had a good time. we had the steak pee, the gammon and a starter plate, everything was tasty and large portions. free wlan was available and san miguel on tap. they had a high chair for our baby. the owners served us themselves, so they can imagine that the treatment was really good.
