"Based on the reviews, we decided to try this restaurant, and we were not disappointed. The fish was incredibly delicious—definitely worth the price—and it was wonderfully flaky. The chips were also excellent. It was a bit unusual to eat out of bags, which made it somewhat tricky to enjoy our meal on the promenade, but we quickly adjusted. The curry sauce, however, was a letdown—it was a bit watery and lacked flavor. Don’t let that discourage you from eating here, though. The wait time was a bit long since it was busy, but that just shows how popular the food is. The staff was really friendly, which added to the positive experience. Overall, a great place to grab a meal!"

best fish and chips since the move to the island's large fresh 8oz cheeseburger with gerkins and a wonderful Irish curry sauce with the chips. it was good to visit, though had to wait for the Kovid warte, but it was worth it.

We've been coming to the happy haddock for a lot of years. There are a few negative reviews which worried me, but I wasn't disappointed, I'd ordered online and our food was ready just after I arrived. Really tasty fish and chips, The best you can get. They don't allow you to have plated food inside like the old days which I guess is down to staffing, but at least you can grab a chair now whilst you're orders being cooked! Food: 5
