Great people. Very friendly and the food is lovely. We were made to feel very welcome and have been back and recommended this lovely place to friends.

I recently attended a friend's funeral at the Jennings Rooms, where the wake was held. The food provided was fantastic, with beautiful presentation and a wide variety of options. Our friend would have been very pleased with the service, so thank you for helping us give him a memorable send-off.

Wow. Steaks cooked to perfection. Homemade chips to die for. Proffessional and personal touch every time you visit. Amazing carvery available. Some of party had homemade pie and himemade lasagne and were very impressed. Look into the weekend entertainment as they have some of the best entertainment in the area. Love this place. This restaurant offers the best carvery in the area, with a wide variety of options including cauliflower cheese and bacon, cheese, and pancetta mash. The food is absolutely delicious, tasty, and perfectly cooked. The staff are friendly and welcoming, going above and beyond to make your experience enjoyable. I can't wait to come back again.

Wonderful carvery meat was outstanding loved all veg so well cooked Pays to go elsewhere sometimes as it’s defo not re heated food ! It’s amazing my friend has standard carvery and was full up I had a small and enjoyed it all and ideal of watching weight ! Dog loves ya yorkshire he had some at home and some meat he’s fast asleep smile on his face lol

I held my husband's wake at this restaurant on 22/05/23. The turnout was over 50% more than I had expected (I had booked for 100, but nearly 200 people came). The management and staff were fantastic! They continuously prepared extra food and made sure every guest was well-fed and satisfied. The food was outstanding and the service was excellent. I would highly recommend this restaurant. Grandad met with family including three young grandchildren, aged six, four and a one year old. High chair brought out immediately, fast drinks service followed by a superb Sunday lunch comprising choice of beef, pork, turkey and ham. Along with various potato choices and I couldn’t count the number of vegetable dishes. Different plate/price option available too. Excellent value. The next time I visit my family will include a further visit here.

Our first visit on Sunday and it was fantastic, the carvery was outstanding, my wife had a ribeye steak and claims it was better than Miler and Carter, the homemade onion loaf was incredible the standard of food coming out of the kitchen was exceptional but my favourite was the homemade brownie oh my, gooey and scrumptious. We as a couple can't wait to go back. Well done 10/10 for the food and service. Looking forward to watching one of the many shows you have booked.

We went to the Jennings Rooms for a meal on Wednesday lunchtime. Everyone went above and beyond with their service to look after us and were so welcoming and pleasant. My husband and daughter opted for the carvery and the quality was absolutely outstanding and you could really tell the time, effort and thought that has gone into the preparation of the food. The roasted parsnips were the best I have ever tasted. I am vegetarian and the chef/owner came from the kitchen to ask me what I would like as a vegetarian option with the carvery vegetables and gave me a choice which was ready in no time.
