"I was hungry, the bar tender pointed out the menu on a table. Everything I asked for...and we are talking stotties and sandwiches not roast swan...was unavailable. I handed her the menu and told her to keep it behind the bar as it was pointless keeping it on show. Ended up eating crisps and nuts. Nothing Jolly!"

I don't drink here often but the times I have its been really welcoming. there are a good range of football matches and the staff are friendly.

It's very good service lovely staff . The food was lovely hot and served pleasantly . The surf turf is gorgeous. It's a lovely friendly little place would def recommend it

We made the mistake of calling in and won't be doing it again. Food disgusting alcohol watered down and the staff pounced about like a b movie gangster failure. Manageress was the worse

Great pub,great staff and really friendly atmosphere plus live music most weekends and fantastic Sunday lunches and great value but when they are gone they are gone so be sharp not to miss out on home cooked food .

My partner and I called for drinks, normally it’s sunny, you can sit outside, seating area nice. Staff friendly enough. It’s a locals pub, quite a mixture of customer. Nothing special just does for a pint in the sun.

Went to the jolly bowman to meet some friends from work as we are work at EE we all ordered food which came out together and you hot and very nice had a few drinks would recommend it to groups friends if you want a good time go hear.
