"We walked there for Sunday lunch, arrived an hour early so we could have a drink first. There wasn’t anywhere to sit for just a drink so we sat at our table. We kept getting asked if we wanted to order, no thanks we’d like to finish our drinks please. The drinks were £4.20 each but we were asked for £9.40 so we had to point out the price. We eventually ordered our meals. The food was okay but nothing special. The roast potatoes were new potatoes done in the oven, the yorkshire puddings were from a packet, the veg was nice but not very hot. My wife had the vegetarian option with half a carrot and 2 slithers of cremated parsnip. Her meal was £15.95 and was a third of the size of my meat version, no Yorkshire pudding and no stuffing. Very disappointing."

I had a wonderful meal here recently. This is my third time dining at this restaurant, and I really enjoy the menu and the welcoming atmosphere. It's great to chat with the manager and the staff. I definitely plan to return!

Room and bathroom very good, the only thing that let it down was the lack of tea/coffee making facilities! The meal was very nice service excellent until we were rushed with our last drink of the evening because they wanted to close!!

Took over an hour from arriving to when the mains came out. Didn't order starters. The Sunday Roast was good except for the beef, which I can only describe as poor at best. Tough as leather and cut thicker than a rump steak. A real shame as previous visits to the Kilcot have been excellent.
