Visited the Masons tonight as we didn’t fancy cooking . Have been a few times before and always been pretty good but tonight brilliant! Friendly service, cosy atmosphere and delicious food. Very reasonably priced, will definitely recommend!

The food was beautiful! We have been a couple of times. The first time the staff were very friendly. Yesterday the most of the staff were friendly. The one lady needs to smile a little more and to be more pleasant. I think it was the owners sister or sister in law!!!

Had a wonderful afternoon having drinks in the sun, admiring the views, with friends. Decided to have dinner there and chose fish and chips. Great service and the most wonderful fish and chips one could have hoped for. Fresh fish, crispy battet, gorgeous! Proper country pub, great beer, food and service. Phoned on the spur of the moment and was offered a table within the hour. By far, the best Sunday lunch we've had in a long time. Choice of beef, Turkey or pork, with all the trimmings. Requested extra gravy, and was provided with 2 jugs, one beef and one Turkey, to compliment our choices. Friendly staff and clean, tastefully decorated pub surroundings. Definitely somewhere we will visit again. 10/10

We had a family gathering of 25 people, reserved tables in advance, and had an amazing time. The food was outstanding, all freshly prepared with fantastic presentation and tasted as delicious as it looked. The staff were extremely friendly and willing to accommodate our needs. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone. We have dined there three times now and each time the quality has been consistent. Thank you to the entire staff.

If you're in need of a fast meal, this restaurant may not be the best choice for you. The dishes are freshly prepared, so be prepared to wait a bit. However, the presentation of the food is beautiful and the flavors are outstanding. The menu offers a wide variety of options that are not typically found elsewhere. The facilities, including the restrooms and parking lot, are well-maintained and the overall atmosphere of the restaurant is welcoming. Had a wonderful meal here. The waitresses were nothing but excellent very attentive and friendly and the food was simply super tasty- and they put parsnips to the veg bonus! 5 star recommend Went again 11/11/2023 for my mums birthday and had to come and write how again Izabel excelled in serving us. She is extremley friendly and wonderful nothing too much trouble and very on the ball with serving all tables often alone and going above and beyond. Another lovely meal. Can recommend the salon and prawn bloody Marie salad starter and the lamb shank main. Thank you

We are regular customers here. We want the place to succeed as it’s our local but after last night, just appalled. We arrived at just before 6pm; another couple were seated in the dining area. We were a party of 3 and our son went to order some food at 6pm. He was told you can’t order for at least an hour; don’t want to overwhelm the kitchen and expecting a party at 6.30pm. We bought a drink and thought perhaps it was a large group at 6.30pm so kitchen prepping food. 6.30pm came and a party of 3!!!! turned up and immediately had their order taken, ignoring us local regulars! We finished our drinks and left. Just appalling

The Mason's Arms was just across the road from where we were staying. At first sight it just seems to be a straightforward village pub, and our expections for dinner were fairly low. But how wrong we were!!! The bar areas are very welcoming and in that sense it is a very traditional cosy English pub .. and there is good choice of beers and wines etc. But the food was wonderful. We chose from teh Special menu which clearly included dishes that bwere favourities of teh Chef Lucianna. We started with Black Pudding and Haggis Fritters.
