"Good food although poor communication between staff. Was out of multiple dishes by 6pm but still said they had it until the point of serving. Adam and Codie on front of house are really letting the place down it's a great venue with a good kitchen but really needs some charismatic and skilled staff to make it run properly as they're clearly incompetent. Its getting better the food was okish..I have had better. However i ate all my roast. Only one barmen and a bit of a queue so that was frustrating for some as he was taking orders for food and drinks. "We visited as a family. Waitress corrected partner on how to say Bruschetta, which she pronounced 'brush etta '. Pet peeve. They have an under 12s menu, that might be better for under 5s. Daughter asked for Mac n cheese, which was about 20 pieces of pasta not macaroni, but we 're not picky. The cheese sauce had split, which we pointed out and were told that 's just how it comes after it 's been in the oven without anything crunchy in sight it had clearly been microwaved. Everything else was just about edible. Patatas bravas had been reduced to something very red coating the potatoes. Waffle dessert was the best part of the meal. After our first complaints resulted in very frosty customer service we didn 't feel we could say anything else so paid the bill and left. Luckily we don 't live locally so this won 't be somewhere we need to visit again."

"The restaurant has only a few tables, making it fairly quiet, but the log burner and heating keep it nice and warm. This was our second time having lunch here with my elderly parents and we all enjoyed the food and hospitality. It's a bit off the beaten path, but definitely worth a visit. It's nice to support a local business, even though we live in Hythe, we still think of Burmarsh as local. We're excited to try their pizza night with an Italian chef. The price per person ranges from £10 to £20."

"My recent visit to The Walnut Tree in Aldington left me with mixed feelings. I was initially disappointed to learn that the restaurant was under new management and the Sunday roast no longer offered a choice of meats. Instead, the price was based on the number of courses. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the roast, which consisted of two slices of gammon and a couple of slices of roast beef for those who chose that option. The roast potatoes and carrots were cooked to perfection, but the cheesy broccoli was a bit too hard for my liking. Unfortunately, the menu lacked allergy information and did not specify that the broccoli was cheesy. The portion of sticky toffee pudding was decent, but I found it lacking in sticky sauce. The apple crumble, on the other hand, was quite small in comparison. Despite these minor disappointments, the standout feature of my visit was the lovely service provided by the wait staff. In conclusion, The Walnut Tree in Aldington offers a nice roast and pleasant service, but there are some improvements that could be made to the menu and portion sizes. Overall, I would still recommend it for a Sunday roast or a casual dining experience."

"the restaurant was very clean and tidy eating was prompt and pizza, where all baked on the show with the open kitchen. they have also adapted the elements of the menu to sort children's shares and prices in which they were drawn to the suits. onky cache that was a bit of a grip was that the service fee was added to the bill, personal preference, but I prefer to type what they got and a bigger tip then the 10,% but what if the service was not standard? it then leaves a very unpleasant conversation to have it removed."

"I had a great experience at this restaurant, enjoying the delicious ales from the Hop Fuzz Brewery. The Martello ale was particularly outstanding. Despite not being a big fan of ale or alcohol in general, I ended up trying two and even taking a two pint takeout. Currently, I am enjoying a half pint and loving it. I highly recommend visiting this place. Although I didn't try the food, it looked fantastic and was reasonably priced. Will definitely have to come back for a meal next time!"
