We had a lovely family Sunday lunch at the Old Forge sat outside in the garden. Food was really nice. Alice made sure we were well looked after. Dog friendly. Would definitely recommend! Thank you.

Amazing food and an lovely cosy atmosphere. We will definitely be returning, really really impressed. Would also like to mention the great, attentive service from our server Katie. She was brilliant!

I think pubs restaurants should train their staff instead of just chatting behind the bar, if they did their jobs right the place would be clean, it was dirty, mucky, to be honest I don’t know why we stayed and had lunch it was just poor, never again, Visualizza piatti

Friends I meet one a month for dinner always receive great service delicious food. Tonight was a very busy evening as they had a special offer on, but we still received great service didn't have long waits for our food. We had a new waitress called Eleanor who was very polite, friendly attentive. She sorted out an issue we had with one of our desserts with out any fuss provided great customer service. Thank you

I received a birthday meal offer where we basically had a ‘Buy one get one free’ for 3 courses. The quality and taste of the food was excellent. We both had the trio of roasts and all the meat was perfectly cooked. We also took the 4 side dishes for £11 again delicious. We just had about enough room for a dessert !! Even without the offer (and excluding drinks) you are looking at £40 a head which is great value for the quality. Our waitress was Hannah and she was very knowledgeable and very good.

We had pre booked a table inside for Sunday lunch but decided to sit outside and enjoy the sunshine. As it was getting busy we were told it would be table service. Alice came to our table to take our orders and was lovely, friendly and polite. Our couple of our party wanted specifics regarding their food and Alice was very accommodating as were the kitchen staff. Our food was brought to us quickly and was delicious and exactly as we wanted. Alice was attentive throughout and we never had to wait for drinks or anything else we might need.
