"My recent visit to Lingfield Park Racecourse with my friends led me to the nearest delightful indian restaurant Tarana, and I must say it was an absolute delight! We didn’t book but from the moment we stepped in, the ambiance was inviting, and the service was exceptional attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about their menu offerings. I particularly enjoyed their house special Lamb Shank, which was cooked to perfection and left me craving for more. The quality of ingredients and attention to detail truly made the dining experience memorable. Moreover, the staff’s warmth and professionalism added an extra layer of enjoyment to the evening. "Had a great meal at The Grumpy Mole on Friday evening. We hadn't booked but took a chance and just turned up. We asked to sit outside and found a lovely spot on the terrace under the shade of a welcome parasol. Our waitress was very efficient, friendly and polite. The food was served in a timely manner and everything felt relaxed and very welcoming. The two starters we enjoyed were the smoked salmon parcel and cheese bacon potato skins, both absolutely sublime. For mains we had the Cajun burger with fries, coleslaw and salad, and calves liver, bacon, onions with mash and vegetables. Both delicious. Everything cooked to our liking, so very happy tummies! Can't wait to return here for another great meal in a lovely setting. Had to add another review, as we went back for a great lunch on Saturday. It was a very rainy day but that was completely forgotten the moment we entered The Royal Oak. The waiting staff were absolutely brilliant, made us feel so welcome and valued. We were offered a very cosy table in The Alcove. We chose the lamb rump with Dauphinoise potatoes and vegetables, and the Steak and ale pie with new potatoes and vegetables. Absolutely delicious! This place has become a real gem and the staff appear so committed to giving you a really special experience. A big thanks to everyone at the Grumpy Mole Oxted!"

"We ate here for the first time and will definitely return. Lots of dishes to choose from. This is not your run if the mill curry house. It has many dishes that you don't often see, as it has a proud Nepalese heritage. The food was absolutely amazing, lovely spices, great taste. The staff are very attentive. I didn't know a lot of the dishes on the menu, but the staff took time to explain. A great variety of beers and wine, too. The venue is well spaced out, light and airy with fantastic Himalayan pictures, etc. It is a stand-alone building off the A22 and has plenty of parking. Everything is on one level for the restaurant, so it should be great for people of all physical abilities. Highly recommended."

"My wife and I visited for the first time and I have to say it didn’t disappoint. On the contrary, it impressed. The owner, his sister and the staff were very warm and welcoming. We felt more like family than customers and this made the experience so enjoyable. We had the garlic prawns and lamb’s liver to start simply delicious and cooked perfectly. Liver is very easy to overdo but this is as good as it gets. We both ordered the mixed grill for our mains. I’ve eaten many mixed grills in the past but this was just perfect and plentiful. Soft chunks of meat cooked with care. This place is a cut above your everyday Turkish restaurant. Everything about Chef’s Cuisine was just perfect. We believe that great food and service should go hand in hand and Chef’s Cuisine have nailed both. As long as they continue to meet such high standards, which I’m sure they will, we’ll keep going back. Just try stopping us!! Looking forward to my next visit already."

"Been here many times, always had a good service very helpful/knowledgeable staff. Last visit was a group of 8. Drinks came out all together followed by the food, later on. Always deliciously hot food, prefect. Below, pictures of my starter, mozzarella dippers with sweet chilli dip side salad. Main, hunters chicken, topped with bacon, cheese, BBQ sauce side salad. Big portion for your money, needed up taking some home for the dog Dessert skipped... #notenoughroom Highly recommended thanks for a lovely meal/evening"
