The Pace Cafe - Piatti

I stopped by for lunch and had the freshly cooked fish and chips, which were made to order and a great deal. The staff was friendly and welcoming.

I knew exactly what I was getting the second I came in. Amazing roll and sausage and the wee play area for the kids was brilliant. Right next to the table too. Will 100% be back!

Good food especially the haggis nice people the cafe has old photos and a history of Ardersier there is also a library and a gift shop plus a Spar supermarket . I didn’t think I would’ve been sitting in my old classroom again.

Wish we had found it sooner. Had breakfast here on morning of departure from Ardersier. Had small cooked breakfast which was more than ample, fried egg, 2 bacon rashers, Lorne sausage, black pudding potato scone and beans. All piping hot. Great pot of tea too.

We stopped here to fuel our stomachs after visiting the Culloden battlefield and moving on to see Fort George, and we were not disappointed! We accidentally fell into this place after we decided to find some coffee after visiting Culloden (they could only offer self-service machine coffee). We only ordered coffee and a pot of tea but we regret not ordering some food... the stew looked amazing! This is clearly a community Cafe and we reckon it deserves all five stars for doing such a great job! Highly recommended!

Came in 20 minutes before closing admittedly but had to check if I had grown two heads judging by the welcome we received. Such a warm ‘highland welcome’ not! Tea was so pelewali and in styrofoam cups while they had paper ones. The closing early, smile less vibe of Scotland is alive and well at the pace cafe! Lockdown actually suits many places! If the highland economy wasn’t dependent on tourism they probably prefer lockdown.

On passing through the area we decided to give this place a chance for breakfast and it did not dissappoint well the food anyway! Breakfast was really good with home cooked breakfast with an expansive menu for both breakfast and lunch available. The setting was not ideal as it was set in the middle of what I can only describe as an old antique junk cupboard but the food hit the spot and was everything I was looking for for breakfast. Waitress who was elderly could have possibly smiled a little more. Good value for money. P.s The haggis was the best I have tasted! Visualizza piatti
