Landlord and lady were so welcoming a nice warm fire to sit by food was amazing well worth a visit if we are up this way again we will definitely visit again

This was a Hall Woodhouse pub with the usual pub food and H W beers. We had 2 starters each for lunch which were excellent. Not the cheapest pub in the area, but worth the visit. We will return.

Another fabulous meal at the Red Lion. Always a real treat. Prices match anything you'd pay in Reading town centre, but the food a 100 times better. Great atmosphere, friendly staff and always something different on the menu.

This is the real deal. There are so few decent non-chain restaurants in the Reading area and finding this is a real treat. The food was brilliant, authentic Italian (try the baked onions for a starter to die for) with an additional pizza oven.

Booked as a last minute calling only 35 mins before the table time to make reservation. Thought because we were fitted in so easily it would be pants. What a foolish thought. The experience was just great. Start by parking in the top car park....
