"A real gem of a place, an excellent pub in a beautiful village definitely worth the drive. Staff lovely, food very tasty and obvious that good quality, local produce and suppliers are used. A bit more expensive than the ‘normal’ pub lunch but as they say, you get what you pay for. Only one little criticism is the ‘gratuity’ automatically added to the bill makes you feel pressured to pay it, rather than it being a choice, we would have given one anyway but amount would have been our choice . That being said, we will definitely be going back and would recommend this place to anyone."

Food was very good, varied choice of dishes using local produce. Friendly atmosphere, with exceptional service. A lovely traditional style pub but with a modern feel to the menu.

Great pub for dog owners with a rug for each of them. Food and service very good. Small menu but that's a plus as far as we are concerned. Would definitely go again if in the area.

Beautiful food and a lovely pub in a picture perfect village. What was also really outstanding was the lovely warm welcome and service from a lovely young lady that looked after us and our dog

Lovely Saturday afternoon lunch , it’s years since I have been here and was not disappointed. Parking was easy and it’s set in beautiful Teasdale. Great service and our sharing platters were prompt and delicious. Well done !

Our very first visit it will not be our last First class service first class food I just love burgers and the burger I had here was fantastic Only problem I had was the price £17 for a burger as good as it was was overpriced Look forward to our next visit

We were a party of 4: first time diners at Rose and Crown. Really enjoyed the food and the service was excellent. The only negative issue was that some fellow diners at a nearby table had a labrador which was rather excitable and on a couple of occasions barked at other dogs passing nd this was quite intrusive.

a relaxing country pub, with open fires, good beer, a decent menu and very good service. we all enjoyed our lunch, finished with a selection at desserts including affogato. we visit the rose and krone possibly 4 times a year and are never disappointed! highly recommended, but in advance book to be sure that a table. the pub is dog-friendly and there are good walks that begin and end from the village.
