The Severn Bore Inn

Stopped over at the Severn bore inn last night to watch the Severn bore and boy it did not disappoint. They managed to squeeze us in and the staff and owners were amazing from me.

Had a lovely roast here, a staff named Debbie helped my friend get her food as she was on crutches which was really lovely! The pub is a bit run down but the staff and the food made up for it!

My wife I and a some friends booked for a Sunday Carvery. Absolutely fantastic food. Staff very friendly and plenty of room to relax and enjoy the lovely the food. I would highly recommend this pub.

Lovely carvery,beautiful turkey and beef,plenty of that and extensive veg.Home cooking,lovely atmosphere . We were made very welcome by staff. Will go again ASAP. Spotless toilets,lovely river location,good parking

Awfull food cold jacket potatoes, flat cokes that were poured from a bottle and charged full draught prices, when we complained, the staff had a bad non caring attitude .wouldernt wast your money visiting this pub .

Just come back from an absolutely delicious Sunday Carvery, excellent service from the waitresses, bar staff very friendly and quick service. Food was delicious and hot, can’t wait to come back again. Garden has a very family feel with bouncy castle and play area Thank you again to all staff

Had a Sunday carvery here with my wife and a friend , booked ahead to ensure as we came up from Devon , not specifically for the carvery but as we were in the area and it was Sunday I researched and this place had the best reviews. It was indeed very good , 3 choices of meat, good selection of veg, the white chocolate and raspberry cheesecake dessert was great too, staff were very nice , so I would recommend this place as a good choice for a Sunday carvery if your in the area .

My family dined here at the end of may and we will NEVER be returning. The staff looked like they didn’t want to be there and it was poorly run. The lady behind the bar was rude to her staff and customers. The place looks sad and dated, it puts you off strait away. It smelt of BO and smoke when you walked through the door even my little boy said mummy it smells. Our food was over cooked and greasy we could barely eat it. Save yourself the money and time and go on up to Gloucester for better food!

We have been to this pub before to watch the Severn Bore and always had an excellent time! Nothing better than a breakfast while watching the bore from this pub!! So when my car started shaking on the A38 I knew if I could get it to The Severn Bore I would have a safe place to wait for recovery! I had no idea just how well they would look after us! The staff, management and customers were awesome! We were welcomed in and looked after as if we were family! My eight year old daughter had the best time on the bouncy castles (yes two bouncy castles) and play park in their garden. I was given the wifi password and offered use of their phone and they even fixed my car before the breakdown people a...
