"Once seated, we ordered our drinks and food, and upon checking our table, it seemed fine. We placed our drinks there and headed to the carvery. The selection of meats was impressive, but my wife, who is vegetarian, found it strange that there were no alternatives offered for her. The vegetables were bland, with some overcooked and others undercooked. The cauliflower cheese had little to no cheese flavor, the stuffing was subpar, and the Yorkshire puddings tasted cheap, likely frozen bulk purchases. On the positive side, the meats were excellent and the highlight of our visit. Unfortunately, this did little to improve my wife's experience, as she was very disappointed. The staff member serving the meat was friendly and accommodating, which was appreciated. However, we noticed that adjoining tables were left uncleared with dirty plates and glasses throughout our hour-long visit. This was particularly disappointing, especially since several staff members were chatting at the bar while we were there. Overall, it was a disappointing meal, and we would not consider returning under these circumstances."

The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. I have allergies, and they dedicated a lot of time to assist me. One of the servers even brought out special vegetables and gravy from the kitchen. Thank you so much! The decor was lovely as well.

Lovely food as usual. Kids had freshly made pizzas and I had meat free carvery. We visit this restaurant almost every week, and I usually order a small carvery, which I believe costs £6.29, while my friend opts for the traditional carvery. They offer a variety of dishes as well. The meat and vegetables are always delicious and cooked just the way I like them—al dente. I typically choose the beef, and the friendly chef serves up a generous and flavorful portion. All the staff are very welcoming, and we usually receive our food in a timely manner.
