everything really tasted super and the portions are very large. the service was also very nice and accommodating. I can only recommend.

Service with a forced smile. I'm never sure why we tip when we visit, as all you're tipping is someone taking your order and delivering your food. But tipping is the German way, whether you're happy or disappointed with your meal, you tip. I find this odd. But there you go. :)

for 5 years I have been more regular in the sheplers and have been today. you need a lot of geduld when you want to eat there, because waiting times of 1 hour for eating are almost the rule. the service can already hurt you, she has to listen to the complaining and keep the guests somehow at ease. the pair of guests at the next table left early on the local, as the order could wait so long. the guests who still hold the long waiting period must also deposit a march to the next cash machine, since no EC payment has been possible for weeks. a reason more that you can no longer recommend this locally.

we went back to restaurant sheplers, although the last 2 visits were already borderline. Just thought we'd try it again. we would have saved ourselves better.For years we have been happy to eat in the sheplers. but since a good half year, it has unfortunately deteriorated. very long waiting times at the appetizers, the main course lasted over 1.5 hours, although the tables in the restaurant were only 2/3 occupied.
