The gourmet chips were under cooked and low quality frozen chips. The food was well below average and expensive for the standard. It's was all pretty disappointing but the roast looked amazing. Very mediocre. Went for breakfast and waited just under an hour for it to come out after ordering. The restaurant wasn’t particularly busy at this point either. When we went for Sunday lunch there was no vegan option apart from soup. They used to offer a tomato galette and chickpea curry (both were nice).. It means that we will be very unlikely to go again unless things change . Please put a vegan option back on. Thank you Vegetarian options: Nothing vegan available apart from soup. Three years ago this was a wonderful place, but recently we always seem to have problems ie wrong orders, big waits and the occasional dirty cups. As others have mentioned the tea bags must have gone out of date in 2012 and you only have enough water for one cup which is hopeless as sometimes the tea comes 10 mins before the food. I completely understand that the restaurant was busy when we arrived, but waiting 45 minutes for food that is dry and bland, with the few vegetables being brown in spots, does not make you want to come back. The wheelchair accessibility was decent. Service was average. We dined in for lunch, and the meal cost around £10-20. Overall, I would rate the food a 1, the service a 3, and the atmosphere a 5. I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. When I brought my concerns to the staff, they simply shrugged their shoulders and seemed indifferent. My order took an eternity to arrive, and when it finally came, it was just 15 minutes before closing time. We felt rushed to finish our meal before they closed. This has to be the most poorly managed place I've ever visited. I would recommend avoiding it unless you enjoy being let down. Service: Dine-in.

This is a fantastic spot for a stroll, whether you're with children, dogs, or just adults. There are charming cafés lining the path and plenty of benches to relax on. The area features both short and long hiking trails, making it accessible for all skill levels. There's not much else included, but the beautiful garden at the end is definitely a highlight. I highly recommend getting a yearly pass if you plan to visit more than once. It's easy to reserve a time slot as well.

Curious about the delay, I went to check on our order. They informed me that it hadn’t been placed, despite having the receipt as proof. They claimed they had attempted to deliver the drinks, but I was attentive and hadn’t seen anyone come by. They assured me they would take care of it, but there was no apology offered. After waiting another 10 minutes with no drinks, I returned to the counter to request a refund. At that point, they told me our drinks were ready, but after 30 minutes, I was fed up with the wait.
