Absolutely brilliant food, reasonable for such service and quality. Visited on a short trip from Glasgow, will definitely be back and not have such a large lunch so we can enjoy more dishes.

It was so so great and mouthwatering! I immediately fall in love with this place. Sooo tasty pasta, tea, lemonade and of cause dessert, so kind and nice manager and waiters! I went solo for dinner, and the food was really nice and cheaper than I was expecting. I had help from the server with the menu and recommended which dishes to be served together. I had Foccacia, Burrata and a daily pasta special to start, then some Bolognese Gnocchi, Pelmeni dumplings and then finished off with a Panacotta. The only part that didn't quite meet expectations were some of the people, most of the servers were really really nice, but there were a couple of folks not dressed in the (typical? black serving uniform, in white that I felt weren't that polite and had kind of a superiority air about them. I really wanted to love this place but don't really understand the hype. Food was OK but nothing mind blowing in our opinion, my favourite was the butter and sage gnocchi, simple and intense flavours. Service was good, everyone was very kind and helpful. Liked the ambience and music. Something I really did not like was that apparently when you tip on the card, the money is not distributed equally amongst the staff, but it is handled by the restaurant and goes towards things like funding staff training. The restaurant is open under the bridge and looks like a warehouse. When you ring the doorbell and open the door, you will see two different worlds. It is simple and yet designed with craftsmanship. It seems like nothing, but warmth emerges when you are in it. The person who greeted me was a lady with a strong Italian accent. It was a pleasure to listen to her introduce the food slowly, her final voice rose, and the questions turned into affirmatives. You completely believed her.
