"I have worked at DHL at the Airport for more than 15 years, I 've always been aware of where Breedon was, but I am ashamed to say today was the 1st time I have ever been in the Three Horseshoes. It is safe to say I will not be leaving it another 15 years before I go in again. This beautiful place is simply put a little hidden gem in the heart of the village. The food was amazing, the staff were better. My family and I had a wonderful time and so much so one of the staff Julie got a well deserved Maisie-sized hug. I loved the quaintness of this place, especially the Secret Garden at the bag of the building. When I had my steak it was one of those moments where you just close your eyes and savour. The kids loved the great choice of puddings (Maisie will be tucking into her chocs tomorrow). The bill was a bit big but when the food is this good and a place is as warm and welcoming as this place is, you dont mind the bill. I had one thought in my head when i was leaving this place, I wonder how soon before I 'm back and I 'd love to see what this place is like at Christmas time . Note-to-self, I do need to make sure I call beforehand to book a table, luckily the wonderful people were easily able to accommodate us."

We chose this pub as it was accessible to family coming from all directions. What lovely food and pleasant service .

We were a group of twelve people and we all thoroughly enjoyed our meals, the service, and the overall atmosphere of the restaurant.

Excellent Sunday roast and service. We were a group of 13 with children and nothing was too much trouble. Food was delicious. Would highly recommend.

We enjoyed a relaxed dinner outdoors in the courtyard. Our dog was warmly welcomed and we were given the option to dine indoors or outside. The menu offered a great selection of dishes and the service was attentive. The food was absolutely delicious.

After making a wrong turn, we stumbled upon this hidden gem. The staff greeted us with warmth and were incredibly helpful. We enjoyed a delightful Sunday lunch in the bar. The service was excellent throughout our visit, with attentive and friendly staff. We can't wait to return.

absolutely beautiful! Welcoming friendly staff nothing is to much trouble for them! even went the extra mile to make me a dessert that wasn't on the main menu to cater to my gluten intolerance, complements to the chef also! Best steak we have ever eaten. Already can't wait to come back!

I had an excellent pub supper here on Friday night I was just driving and looking for somewhere serving hot food this proved to be an excellent find with good prices. I drank Marstons beer (one of my favourites bitters), and had a really nice sausage mash meal. It arrived with red cabbage gravy cost just £10.50. Next time I'm at Donington Circuit I'll be heading in the direction of The Three Horseshoes

My friend and I have been here before and each time it doesn’t disappoint we had a fabulous 3 course meal plus liqueur coffee to finish it was superb. The staff are so friendly and helpful. It’s probably a little more expensive than your average pub but it’s worth every penny a lot of the food is home made and very tasty I had roast loin of pie my friend had rib of beef we both had same starter it was smoked salmon with rocket and sourdough bread and for sweet we had treacle oat tart omg it’s to die for please go and give it a try as a treat.

"Nipped in for a quick bite on a Friday evening. We went up to what looked like the restaurant bar and asked if it was possible to get a table but were directed to the main bar to ask about this. The place was packed- getting served at the internal bar would have been a bit of a fight. Had a similar experience on a visit here before because there's not much space around the bar so you tend to get an impenetrable crowd instead of any sort of line. Eventually managed to get the attention of a member of staff and were told the restaurant was fully booked, however we could sit outside and order food at the bar to our outside table. Would have saved us some time if that was communicated through the team and relayed by the first person we asked instead of sending us to queue elsewhere. We did order to an outside table, and the food was excellent. The small pizzas really are quite small. But if you have a couple of sides they're perfect to not overstuff you. If you want to just eat pizza probably get a large. Also they had really interesting topping selections on the pizzas- I had the spiced aubergine, creme fraiche and honey. It was absolutely delicious. The chips were hot and well seasoned, the greek salad also really nice- I did miss the addition of peppers and would possibly remove the pea shoots and sub in the peppers to improve this and keep it more authentic though. Drinks were nice and the atmosphere inside was quite cosy and outside had a nice vibe with the tasteful lightning and wooden furniture. Would definitely return (but probably make a reservation. It's busy for a reason!"

"We stayed for one night prior to a flight at East Midlands Airport and everything was excellent, from the warm, welcoming staff, to the rooms and the simply delicious food (evening and breakfast). Firstly the pub: food, drinks, restaurant… All excellent. The sign of a great pub for ale drinkers is one with knowledgeable staff who are keen to let you sample before deciding on a pint. This was the case here and we worked through all five real ales during the afternoon and evening! Also a great selection of wines, and everything served in the correct glasses I loved the attention to detail. Then the evening meal in the restaurant area of the pub: this was also excellent, with a great menu and top food, in plentiful portions. Really delicious all ‘round. We didn’t manage desserts but starters and mains all great. The pub/restaurant is well presented inside and out, with a lovely beer garden at the back. Secondly, the hotel rooms: we were in rooms 1 2 and both were lovely. They were well presented, comfy beds, nice hospitality tray (with fresh milk in the in room fridge), nice toiletries. The room rate included breakfast, which was all freshly cooked to order and once again, a great selection. I would 100% stay here again, especially if going to/from East Midlands airport which was less than a 10 minute drive. A lovely, traditional country Inn with excellent food and hospitality. Thank you to the full team."
