I was in the mood for a beer, so I took the opportunity to stop for fuel. Right next door, I found a great spot! The place was run by a Portuguese staff member, and they served excellent beer. There was plenty of space to enjoy, and parking was easy. Overall, I would rate the service a 5 and the location a 5.

My elderly in-laws were traveling home on the A82 when they hit a pothole during last night's storm, which caused a flat tire. After trying unsuccessfully to fix it in the pouring rain and fierce winds, they were soaked and unable to get any roadside assistance because of the high volume of calls in the area. They set out to find a place to spend the night, accompanied by their 15-year-old granddaughter. When they inquired about a room, they were quoted over £300! It felt like complete robbery—especially given that it was a stormy night and they had very limited options at 8:30 PM.
