The customer service was outstanding, the staff went above and beyond to make everything enjoyable. They cooked a vegan meal specifically and gave us a lift in and out of Thirsk , we could not ask for better service

Only been open 4 months under this management. Amazing customer service, gorgeous food. We chose the meat and fish sharing platter and it did not disappoint. Would highly recommend this place. Coming back to try the other choices.

First time booking and didn't disappoint. Very generous helpings of starters (springs rolls, amazing). Friendly staff and good selection on menu. We opted to sit on chairs rather than the swings, but can understand the novelty. Would book again but not with grandchild as the swing would prove problematic of her wanting to play (3 year old) and the safety aspect. Prices were reasonable and food was presented beautifully. So we decided to go and try out the vale of York, as it was under new owners and heard it had a refurbishment. So we booked in for the Friday with the parents and as soon as we walked through the door we were welcomed and made to feel like friends. The service was excellent, and two of us are gluten free and we had a very good selection from the menus. The owner took our order to ensure everything was put through correctly to the kitchen. And we certainly weren't disappointed with the food and quality. What was even better is it was all locally used suppliers. For the quality of the food it was very reasonably priced. We will also certainly be going again, and definitely be booking in to try...

When we arrived we were hit with a foul smell of what i assume is drains, the decor looked cheap and the swing seats looked out of place. The menu looked great, but when asked for a rough size of the chateaubriand the waitress didnt know what it was and said im not sure but id say its a mixture of all the steaks, we didnt order this as it wasnt well explained (when we looked into it, it wasnt a mixture of all steaks). The belly pork starter was nice, very big portion for a starter but nice. The steaks came over cooked and looked smaller than the sizes described on the menu.
