"We have dined at the Vic several times, but on this occasion, we were extremely disappointed. We waited over an hour for our food, and when it finally arrived, two out of the four meals were served cold. The issue was somewhat resolved by reheating them in the microwave, but it was still disappointing. Additionally, not all of the dessert options we wanted were available. It's a pity, as we have generally been satisfied with this restaurant in the past."

the table was booked for a 60th meal, we were not rushed at all, eating and drinking was amazing, personal cared for us very well, will go again soon?

Food and drink very good. Waitress was first class. Would suggest adding cheese plate to menu. Unfortunately unpleasant odour emanated from lower stairwell leading to Loos.

smaller parts than the sister pub. slow service and a very atmospheric waitress that produces our dessert. sons chickem was to dry, swallow and brown lettice. very dissapointing.

Friendly welcome, efficient service and great food. Scallops and liver parfait starters were gorgeous. the fish and chips were freshly cooked with the biggest piece of fish ever. Linguine with prawns nicely spiced and a generous portion.

Lovely waitress and atmosphere but I did feel that the food had been under the kitchen lights waiting to be given to us. It all tasted fine but was dry, so the pea purée had definitely seen better days. The fish cakes were fine but the asparagus and chips were not brilliant I have to say.

We were seated at a great table with comfortable chairs in a nice area, and the waitress who greeted us was friendly. The food was tasty and served hot. However, the drinks took a while to come, and the service in general was a bit slow even though the restaurant wasn't busy. Despite this, we had a delightful evening and would definitely come back.

specially booked to give the big kids a pizza, as we know that they only find around 18 o'clock, they were not able to do them as no bases or mozzarella. the children 5 and 10 had a ok mac and cheese, but the portion size for a 10 years old was tiny. we had the crab pasta dish that was not very tasteful, asked about something parmesan, but no available. on the positive side, the employees were helpful and polite, but not inaccessible for the meal.
