The Village Cafe - Piatti

Me and my sister had breakfast here today. One of the best breakfasts we've tasted. Couldn't believe how quick it was served. Lovely friendly staff. Definitely be back.

Nice little cafe friendly staff nice portions of the breakfast nice coffee can get really busy good selection on the menu only down side is cash only and catering sausages I would pay £1 more for a good pork sausage

While in Clacton we popped into village cafe for breakfast and it was the nicest breakfast I had in a long time . The waitress was very friendly and made us feel very warm and welcome . The price is very reasonable as well so it’s a five star from me and my family . Visualizza piatti

Found it by using Google as was local. Service was spot on! Quick, friendly and with a smile. Proper cup of tea and very tasty, not greasy, breakfast. Both boys cleared their plates Clean and spacious cafe too! Will definitely be back there when I’m next in Clacton.

Nice friendly atmosphere, clean and inviting. The breakfast was yummy, but a little bit of a small portion for the large breakfast option. We had to wait quite a while for our food as it was busy and toast was forgotten.Would easily be a 4 star if the portions were slightly bigger and we didn’t have to wait so long or ask for our toast. Will still return and would recommend.

Visited on a Saturday morning with my friend.She had a number 5 set breakfast with 2 lattes and I had a number 4 and a cup of tea.Everything was cooked really nicely (although the mushrooms could have been hotter) and tasted good. The eggs were cooked perfectly.The only criticism is that we had to wait 40 mins for the food. Popped in here with my son for brunch .Staff were polite, welcoming and accommodating.The cafe has a lovely atmosphere and its was obviously a sociable place.The food arrive in good time, freshly cooked and hot.My panini was delicious, good quality ham and a nice strong cup of tea.Great wheelchair access and lots of room for prams.It’s a nice spacious cafe and it’s refreshing not to feel squeezed in .You can see into the small kitchen and it was very clean.Thankyou will be definitely visiting again.

We popped in for breakfast on our last day of our holiday in Clacton...if only we had been sooner we would have been in more than once. The cafe was very busy when we got there, but luckily we managed to get a table. The cafe looked nice clean staff were friendly when we ordered. We ordered four breakfasts of various sizes all were beautifully cooked, each with a nice runny egg. We chatted to other customers found the cafe to have a pleasant atmosphere. It's always lovely to find a decent local cafe to get a good breakfast from. We will most definitely return if we are in the area again.

I popped in there for breakfast today, 22nd November, 2019, in order to while away half an hour until my hairdressing appointment.I ordered two scrambled egg on toast and a cuppa. Nothing complicated there. The cuppa came relatively quickly and was unbelievable weak. The scrambled egg came with two slices of toast. I took one bite, and couldn't believe it. The toast was completely burnt and was covered with the scrambled egg. I separated the scrambled egg from the toast. The scrambled egg tasted OK.The result was that I left the two slices of burnt toast and most of the cup of tea.
