The Villager Pub - Piatti

Food was okay not worth the 40 minutes wait tho. The toilets look like they had not been cleaned since the night before as there was vomit in both of the cubicles. One till for ordering food on a bank holiday weekend was not good enough the queue was going out the front door just for food.

We came across this pub and decided to try it out for dinner during our day trip. The bartenders were helpful and friendly. One of the kitchen staff came over to inform us that they were out of the sides my daughter had ordered, and allowed her to choose another option. The food was delicious and cooked perfectly. The pub itself was spacious, clean, and had plenty of seating options to choose from.

Food was rubbish, ordered a filled yorkshire pudding with mash, sausage, onion gravy and peas.. only ate the yorkie as the mash tasted like smash, sausages were gristly and cheap no taste, the onions in the gravy still had skin on, kids meal was basically a tablespoon of mash, teaspoon of beans and 3 fish fingers, wouldn’t of fed a mouse.. a year ago we rated this pub brilliant but now definitely not, overpriced and rubbish Visualizza piatti

I visited this restaurant with my family (two boys and my wife) expecting it to be a family-friendly place. All we wanted to do was play a few games of pool and have a couple of drinks. However, we were very disappointed. The pool table was extremely dirty, and it cost £2.00 per game. The drinks were also overly expensive - we paid £15 for just one Pepsi, one J20, one lager, and one cider. Overall, it was a rip off and we found the place to be dirty and not worth visiting. I would recommend avoiding it.

4 of us went here for lunch, and 1 member of my party had a nut allergy. I very politely asked if the food had been prepared and cooked in a nut free place. The oldish guy serving was downright rude and ignorant. He said, read the menu!. I replied that I had, I had the menu tossed at me with a very nasty reply. The other younger barman went to ask and gave me a civil answer. But we decided that we would go somewhere else. This is the 3rd time I've been here and would never return for any reason, place needs to be sorted as well, the smell from the toilets was horrendous. Avoid at all costs.

Absolute terrible my little boy was on the stack and grab machine (which he put quite a bit of money in) got to the top and then u have to choose a toy, the machine grabber was broke I got the “manager” and he said u just have to keep trying, I said I will be here all night the machine is broke, he said nothing I can do, do not spend your money in the arcade because if you win a toy they won’t get it! He walked off and hid in the back and wouldn’t come back out lol proper sh*t show! And that’s a “manager” lol! Oh and don’t buy beer from the arcade bar as smells of egg and just off! My family and I went to this restaurant for a meal, but we found that the prices were quite high. We ordered a pizza and two pie, mash, and peas meals. We specifically asked for no bacon on the pizza, but it was included anyway. Additionally, the meat in the pie was burnt and my son thought it was chicken. The pie and mash were very unappetizing – the pie was burnt and dry and resembled dry dog food, while the mash was hard around the edges. The staff seemed to know that our meals were not good, but did not ask if everything was okay. We decided to leave as the food was awful and we could not eat it. We will definitely not be returning to this restaurant in the future.

Where to start. The man behind the bar refused to serve us before we had sat at a table and then stood up to come straight back to the bar for whatever reason. We then made the mistake of ordering food... The food was 43 mins with 4 other tables who werent even in the pub when we ordered getting, then finishing their food and ours was nowhere in sight. So after complaining about this wait time the food came out about 7-10 mins later. The chilli wasnt too bad but was a very small portion with only lukewarm rice. The lasagne on the other hand came out with half cooked garlic bread and stone cold interior. The staff also seemed to not care what so ever which was another nail in the coffin.DON'T...

Were advised we could go to see singer and lion show at the Coast fields holiday park for free,however when we arrived they charged us £15.00!Shocking as we were lead to believe it was free.The staff mislead us so will not visit either place again.The food and drink was okay but the staff weren't trustworthy so don't ask the staff at the village pub where to take kids for free entertainment as they will tell you it's free and your kids will get in there and you will be charged 5 pounds per person and your children will want to stay,also people who arrive are not staying at coastfields can play bingo which non members are not allowed to purchase tickets for and your forced to see this to watc...
