"Restaurant is not cozy and not on Waterfront. Food was pretty good, especially ox cheeks. But the owner served us alone and everything took time. The worse thing was that owner didn't break a bill for 3 parties, as we asked, but made 1 bill, in which he mixed everything up so, that only at home we figured that he counted our drinks twice. First he put drinks separately, but then added also total of the drinks again! We left the city early in the morning with a group and couldn't go there to complain."

My first time eating at this restaurant and I would go back again. My oxtail entree was absolutely delicious! I'm from Canada and visiting Scotland for my 1st time and spending time with family here. Great staff and chef was very hospitable.

We were looking for lunch in Kirkaldy and found this gem. By coincidence it has the same name as our favourite restaurant in Anstruther, but there's no connection. The 2-course lunch menu is ideal, and the chef came out of the kitchen to tell us that the plaice wasn't available as he was waiting for his fish delivery (it arrived while we were there). Food was excellent and the service very good, we'll be back next year.
