Delightful hotel, pub, and restaurant with excellent service and very comfortable rooms.

Visited yesterday for Sunday dinner. The food and drink was matched by the service. Would highly recommend!

Great local pub a good range of beers, friendly staff, no big TVs, no loud music, cosy atmosphere and a real fire what could be better for an evening out with friends?

A lovely pub with great food, all cooked to order and fresh ingredients. I definitely recommend this place but always wise to pre book a table in advance. I have been several times now and it really doesn't disappoint, latest visit I had the ribs, I can highly recommend this dish.

The Wheatsheaf pub has a lovely cosy feel about the place. At the back of the pub is a very classy restaurant area designrd to cater for a evening meal or a Sunday lunch. We organised with Jessica to have my husband's dad's wake in one of the front rooms just off the bar area. They were brilliant sorted sandwiches for us and made sure everything ran smoothly. Definitely recommend them.

had a fabulous evening at the wheatsheaf last night. the food was sublime- the duck boiled to perfection and the jus so delicious I had to stop myself from licking the plate! General cheese board was divided between 3 and the caviar cheese cake was light and yet really creamy and was the effect to jump on the wonderful crispy biscuit crumb base. our waitress laura was thrilled and the Wheatsaf manager was attentive and pleased to chat with her customers! to this fabulous evening the cherry champagne cocktails were mixed by dav. the live music was excellent, although something too loud for the dining room, but the singing was extremely good. my only suggestion would be to check the weeping li...
