Enjoyed a delicious meal at the Wheatsheaf today. It was from their Christmas Menu. 3 courses for £18 very good value for money excellent service. Well done !!

We had an amazing meal with a wide variety of choices at this restaurant. The pasta dishes were absolutely delicious and the service was excellent. I highly recommend this place.

We went yesterday for the first time. We both had roast beef. It was absolutely lovely. One of the best roast beef lunches we've had. We go out for Sunday lunch most Sundays. Well worth a visit very friendly staff great atmosphere..

My partner and I went out for dinner at White Leaf and had a wonderful evening. The food was excellent and the staff were extremely polite. We couldn't fault anything at all and will definitely be recommending this restaurant to our friends.

Excellent service, well considered menu backed up by local produce and balanced wine list. The place has great atmosphere and the staff cannot do enough to make ones time there a memorable experience. Certainly a return to the Wheatsheaf is already in the diary. Keep up the great work. A beacon of culinary light due soon to come out of the shadows.

Called in here today to give it a try. We were very pleased with delicious Sunday roast in very pleasant fresh surroundings. Good size portion of homemade food and desserts were excellent too. Must praise exceptional customer service which is rare commodity these days..very pleasant young lady who couldn't have been more attentive. Thank you all staff.

Faultless.Had a lovely meal with my other half here. Very welcoming host who claimed he was normally head chef but they were short staffed. This came as a surprise because the service was amazing! The food was beyond your average pubgrub with everything being delicious and the perfect balance of traditional to contemporary for me. I can't recommend this place enough.

Myself and four other mothers recently enjoyed a lovely afternoon tea at the restaurant. The sandwiches, warm scones, and assortment of cakes were all delicious and great value for money. We brought along our five babies, all 7 months old, but unfortunately the staff could not accommodate any more. They did offer high chairs, though. Overall, it was a great place and definitely worth another visit.

A few months ago I approached this restaurant to have a diner party with a group of 50 persons. Daniël Roofe was very professional, gave me good advice and we made arrangements for 2 dates. The food was excellent, the staff was very quick (as we had a tight schedule) to serve a 3-course meal complimentary coffee and they did it all with a lovely smile !
