We so enjoyed all 8 courses on the August menu, delicious flavours and fabulous combinations of foods. The restaurant is welcoming, relaxed and I cannot praise the service highly enough. This was my first visit, it won't be my last.

The vegetarian tasting menu is exceptional, even surpassing some I have tried at Michelin-starred restaurants, and it changes monthly. Meal cost £220 for 2, I do not generally complain because I don't like to make a scene and the waiting staff are not paid enough to put up with nonsense, that is what reviews are for. We were placed at a table basically in the front door when a table that was far more appealing was available all evening in the window, we were given a TEASPOON to consume our veloute. We ordered a nice pinot noir, we were not informed that this was not available and not given a choice for another, we were TOLD that our wine had been swapped because they didn't have the one we asked for and not asked if that was ok, just poured.
