"I recently visited this restaurant for the first time in a while based on a recommendation. I was highly impressed by the friendly staff, but even more impressed by the delicious chicken curry with all the accompanying side dishes. The portion was generous, the taste was excellent, and the presentation was nicely done. My mother's prawn jacket potato was also very good. The food quality is on par with a restaurant, but in a welcoming pub atmosphere. I will definitely be coming back. Thanks a lot."

juke box sometimes a bit loud . I MUST try the food as that comes well-recommended by at least two people I know. It's probably my local.

We had a most enjoyable Sunday Roast today the beef was so tender just fell apart The staff where all exceedingly pleasant and efficient, also they went that extra mile for anything that you needed Thank You

The restaurant did not welcome us warmly, and we noticed no improvements since our last visit four years ago. While the rear garden offers a good view, the standard of cleanliness in the toilets and decor left us unimpressed. We ultimately decided not to dine here. Additionally, we found that sugar for coffee was rationed. Overall, the experience was not unpleasant, but we would not recommend this restaurant.

Had a lovely meal last night. Squeezed us in at short notice. Partner said one of the best quality steaks he'd had in a long time. My lasgne was equally beautiful i would actually say the best I've had! Presented lovely too. Staff all great, friendly, polite and professional. A good local Pub with a mixture of all age nice friendly customers. I do also like that you could go in as dressed up as you want or casual, and feel comfortable in both. Glad we've moved local!
