Still the nicest place for Indian food that I know of in this area outstanding cuisine, great service and a lovely, easygoing ambience.

What a super little place this is. Lovely, polite and efficient staff and beautiful food. Much to be recommended, and we are looking forward to visiting again.

So the food and atmosphere was generally good. However when I was served my jalfrezi the waiter dropped it and the sauce spilled all over my table and windows. I got an apology but no discount or refund at all! Waiter thought it was funny I would ask for a discount! Meal type: Lunch Price per person: £10–20

Wow, I was impressed! Firstly the food is cooked fresh to order, yes even the meat, and it makes such a difference. The spicing is excellent and there are distinctive flavours as described in the menu. Service is excellent and the owner cares enough to come to every table to ask if everything is ok. Me and my friends went to Thira for food and ordered appam and stew. Stew was good but the appam they served was so thin even the fishing net is much thicker than that appam. We told the waiter about the appam but they didn't care to bother about anything. I don't think it is fair to serve food like that to customers when they are charging a good amount of money. I forgot to take a picture otherwise i would have posted pics of that appam.. Coz it was that so disappointing experience.

I visited for the first time today for dinner with my partner and two children. We had already looked on here and decided we'd all try a Thali each but was informed these are only available Monday to Friday so we were abit disappointed however our food was all amazing. I ordered the butter chicken, my partner ordered a dosa with a tarka dhal, daughter ordered a tikka masala and son ordered a prawn puri with chips. Everything was perfect and we will definitely go again to try a Thali :

My visits to see my elderly parents in Blackburn have in the past couple of years been enhanced by visits to this simple lovely restaurant. It feels out of place surrounded by take aways offering processed foods such as Kebab and Burger, or fried chicken. On 20th December 23 my partner and I took a table and enjoyed the most flavoursome peppery Rasam followed by Prawn and Mango curry, Brinjal Masala, a thin King Fish steak packed with flavour, some Appam and Rice.
