"A couple of times now I have seen Thyme Restaurants give you a sense of disbelief if you haven't booked your table and then have the audacity to say it's about a 10 minute wait to get a seat. I'm not sure what they are trying to prove or if they are suggesting the kitchen staff are not up to capacity. I had to ask twice when my table would he ready after the overdue wait despite it being empty. I stop at a lot of premier inns and I think think the Brewers Fayre is the best experience and menu. I'm struggling to think of something positive. I would recommend finding somewhere else to eat if you want quicker service, not sure why several people are being turned away, doesn't make business sense to me."

It's a midium sized beautiful restaurant and bar. We had very healthy and delicious breakfasts there.

Lovely fresh breakfast. Lots to choose from. Great vegan and veggie options. Crumpets, fruit. Soya milk etc.

You get what you pay for. The food is a good quality and always tasty. The staff are friendly and polite. Good value for money and a reasonable amount of choice. A lot better than a lot of other premier inn restaurants I’ve visited

Ate breakfast in this restaurant when I stayed in the Hotel above it. It was a disappointing experience, the food was bland and badly cooked, and the service slow and rather careless. When I stay there now, I eat breakfast in the little French cafe on the other side of the Gyratory system.

On the first night there were no peas for the fish, chips and peas. I was asked if I would like coleslaw instead! The fish and chips arrived with a dry piece of brown bread not sure what that was all about. The second night there was no stilton for the cheese board. Decidedly average fare.

Me and my son went for tea and orded a kids spaghetti and meatballs, i orded pesto chicken and potatoes. My sons came out no spaghetti or sauce just meatballs. I was going to send it back but he was really happy with what he got. My chicken with pesto was bland and tasted mainly of cheese and nothing on the potatoes. I was a bit put off by this but risked the breakfast for the next two mornings. The breakfast was great plenty to choose from and all freshly cooked. Would definitely have breakfast again but not a main meal. Staff were polite and friendly and helpful.
