"Glorious! We absolutely love this restaurant great service (staffs were all smiles and personable), food are absolutely divine (chef showcase cooking technique and executed the dishes really well), family friendly (really good quality kids menu with proper vegetable sides included), baby friendly (baby change facilities included). It’s just an all rounded, good quality seafood restaurant. We would totally come back here again when we visit Poole again. Try it to know it!"

"I visited the thirsty bird today with a friend. I had my young baby with me. The waitress brought my coffee over and when I wasn't looking my LO pulled the whole cup of coffee over himself and me. I was naturally a bit shocked, but didn't realize it was all over my son's arm. The quick thinking waitress jumped into action and helped me get the hot wet coffee covered clothes off LO. She got a cold cloth and helped me run his burnt arm under the tap. Just blown away by such a great experience. The coffee and cake we had were also amazing and the coffee was replaced free of charge. However much these kind ladies earn it's not enough. Thank you"

"Popped in for quick lunch, had the famous Thai Som Tum Salad and some sticky rice. Food was great as was the service, met the owner and his wife who is one of the chefs and chatted about Thailand where I have spent a lot of time. This is as close as you are going to get to real Thai food and they also do a big selection of North Eastern Thai food which you will not find anywhere else in the areas. This is the real deal not one of the average places that are all over Poole and Bournemouth."

"It was fine, but not sure what all the rave reviews are about. Menu was basic the 'fixed choice all year round so we 're going to print it as your placemat ' type which always makes me smile. Disappointed not to see a specials board, if only to indicate the chef tries out new seasonal dishes. Food was pleasant but for the price I didn 't think it was great value. We had a camembert to share to start and fish (tuna/sea bass) for main. Cooked nicely but lacking flavour. Decided to skip pudding! Service was good. But other than one other couple, we were the only ones on a Friday night, so you 'd expect it to be I suppose. Overall, have had better meals in Poole."

"My husband and I spent the last weekend near Poole and we are so pleased to have found La Lupa at the end of the Quay: the best Italian restaurant we have ever been to (and Italian food is our favourite so we therefore go to plenty of Italian restaurants! . Everything was perfect: from the very welcoming, friendly and attentive staff to the wonderful meals. Both the pizza and pasta were delicious (and yes, I tried both as I couldn’t resist having some of my husband’s meal – and he did the same . We know that the owner has recently taken over from an established business – and can’t imagine that it was previously better considering the fantastic meal we had. Thank you for the lovely experience and one thing is sure: next time we are in the area we will book a table at La Lupa!"
