one of the few restaurants in bamberg with view of the canal. beautiful to see the very long flat boats past. Eating is Italian, very average taste.

not very fritted and the food needs improvement, the seafood was not fresh and very dry black pasta..bear understood that when complaining, the device stops.

Great home-made food in a family-run restaurant. In winter it is very cozy and in summer the view from the garden of the canal and being able to eat in the sun is great. I recommend the Bistecca a la peppe (Filetsteak in pepper sauce)....It is just amazing. As well as the salads. A worthy visit when you are in the centre.

This is a good alternative to the ubiquitous German food: Italian pizzas and salads on an outdoor terrace, under a vine canopy, overlooking the canal. Foodwise it is fairly ordinary, slightly overpriced and with sluggish service. Don't go if you are in a hurry. Do...go if you want to spend the afternoon over a very leisurely bottle of wine!

We went for lunch here and husband had spaghetti frutti de mare and I had ravioli al forno- the spaghetti was the better choice of meal and really very good with good range of seafood. My ravioli was very cheesy and for me ok as...I was very hungry. As we left the staff were sitting down to have their own lunch and all the other customers had left. Visualizza piatti

the ambiente of this restaurant is really beautiful. Especially if you want to sit outside, they have an amazing river view. the pizza I chose was diavlo, which was really delicious. also the pasta gorgonzola was really good. overall, I was quite happy apart...from the service. the restaurant is very slow to get them to eat. they decide accordingly.

Hi, Ristorante Tivoli liegt zwar schön gelegen, jedoch sind einige Gerichte eher unterdurchschnittlich. Ich bestellte ein überbackenes nudelgericht [meezzo mezzo], welches sehr sauer schmeckte und mit Dosenpilzen zubereitet war. Nachdem ich den Kellner auf den Geschmack hingewiesen hatte, wurde das Gericht zwar in die Küche zurückgebracht jedoch voll berechnet.

Charming river view, lovely atmosphere, large menu, very nice meal. However even by Euro standards the experience was extraordinarily slow. There was one server who worked hard but was totally overwhelmed by the 8 tables filled on a weekday night. 15 minutes, to get a...menu, 30 minutes to get a glass of wine, 50 minutes to get an appetizer, and 70 minutes for the food to arrive. I understand the concept of leisurely eating, but this was pure and simple understaffing. Food was pleasant, but I'm not certain I'd return simply due to timing.
